AuDHD Coaching for Women
Supporting girls and women who are diagnosed, self-diagnosed, exploring diagnosis, curious about AuDHD or seeking to better understand and support the AuDHD people in their lives.
What’s it like to be AuDHD?
To be AuDHD is to experience the world through a vivid, deeply complex interplay of Autistic and ADHD traits. It is the lived experience of needing strict plans to feel safe, yet feeling instantly trapped by them; of seeking high-dopamine novelty while simultaneously being easily overwhelmed by sensory input.
Why This Work Matters
For decades, diagnostic criteria were built around young boys, leaving an entire generation of neurodivergent women to fall through the cracks.
In the UK, historic diagnostic bias meant up to 80% of autistic females remained unidentified throughout childhood, while the vast majority of women with ADHD are missed until their late 30s or 40s, often after navigating years of NHS waiting lists, chronic burnout, and being misdiagnosed with anxiety or depression.
Without targeted support, late-diagnosed women spend decades internalising the belief that they are "broken," driving themselves into severe burnout while attempting to double-mask in a neurotypical world. AuDHD coaching exists to break that cycle.
This work isn't just about learning time-management hacks, it is a vital, life-changing process of unlearning toxic shame, reclaiming your energy, and finally getting the tailored support you were denied for far too long.
